KEY EPOCON SL is a 90-125 mils thick self-leveling moisture vapor control system utilizing Key Epocoat technology, a unique water-based epoxy which allows the contractor to install polymer resin floor systems and other moisture sensitive floor coverings on new concrete (5 days old) or any concrete substrate emitting excessive moisture vapor without fear of moisture related blistering or delamination. Key Epocon SL is applied in a two coat application. Key Epocoat is the primer/basecoat used in the Key Epocon SL System. Key Epocon SL reduces the passage of water vapor and moisture through slabs on, above or below grade, thus eliminating delamination and blistering of adhesives, floor coverings, resin floor systems, epoxy terrazzo and coatings.
KEY EPOCON SL controls water vapor transmission levels for the installation of most floor covering systems, including VCT, sheet vinyl, carpets, wood, laminates, epoxy resin flooring and epoxy terrazzo.
KEY EPOCON SLT contains graded aggregates combined with a unique epoxy technology to produce a fluid, self-leveling mixture that is spread with a gauge rake, squeegee or trowel. This system will regulate moisture vapor transmission while providing high wear, durability and impact resistance ideal for light to heavy traffic areas. Key Epocon SLT is the answer for both new and renovated areas and can be installed over most sound floors. Key Epocon SLT is a 1/8-3/16 inch seamless, low maintenance slurry broadcast system that provides the high wear, durability and impact resistance ideal for medium to heavy traffic areas. Key Epocon SLT’s chemical and dirt resistant finish is textured to improve non-skid and abrasion resistant properties. Key Epocon SLT can be installed with an integral cove base for areas requiring seamless wall to floor coatings.
KEY EPOCON QUARTZ is a decorative resin flooring system consisting of Key Epocoat, a moisture vapor tolerant primer/basecoat with a colored quartz aggregate broadcast finish. This durable quartz system provides decorative, heavy-duty protection at 3/16 inch to 1/4 inch. Key Epocon Quartz is finished with clear catalyst-cured coats of resin available in a satin or gloss finish. The installed system reduces porosity and produces a dense skid-inhibiting finish that minimizes bacterial growth, dirt and chemical penetration. The decorative quartz aggregates are available in a series of pre-blended patterns or solid colors.
KEY DIAMOND CHIP is a 90-125 mils thick self-leveling moisture vapor control system utilizing Key Epocoat technology, a unique water-based epoxy which allows the contractor to install polymer resin floor systems and other moisture sensitive floor coverings on new concrete (5 days old) or any concrete substrate emitting excessive moisture vapor without fear of moisture related blistering or delamination. Key Diamond Chip flooring is sealed with various topcoats to meet particular performance requirements. Key Diamond Chip Flooring is ideal for any project with a requirement for USGBC LEED certification. Typical uses include corridors, lobbies, light manufacturing areas, classrooms, cafeterias, general purpose use, and numerous other areas.
